The twists and turns in Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case refuse to come to an end. Now it has come to light that Bihar Police is searching for Sushant's flatmate, Siddharth Pithani, whom they're yet to locate. Opening up to ANI (translated to English by HT), Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey said, “There's a lot of mystery. There is also a slight problem because we haven't received basic documents needed to proceed further in the case. Nevertheless, the DGP also expressed faith that Mumbai Police would cooperate, adding, “When we receive these things (in the aforementioned list) from Mumbai Police, we'll analyse the case. In the meantime, we have examined message and received information. Work is also underway on (checking Sushant Singh Rajput's) accounts. We can't share that with you (for now). But, I'm sure Mumbai Police will help us. They will have to because the entire nation is watching this. Elaborating on how the case has gripped the entire country, Pandey highlighted: “He was Bihar's son, but pride of the whole country. Not just the people of Bihar, but every Indian wants to know what exactly happened in this case. The mystery should end. That is what we're trying to do. Meanwhile, reports have also confirmed that the team of cops from Patna, Bihar, that has landed in Mumbai are now on the lookout for SSR's flatmate, who had earlier written to Mumbai Police that the late actor's family was pressurizsing him into giving a statement against Rhea Chakraborty. On the other hand, Bihar deputy CM, Sushil Kumar Modi, alleged that the Maharashtra government was under pressure from a Congress-backed ‘Bollywood mafia’ to let certain individuals involved in Sushant's death to be let off the hook. A serious allegation indeed.
