Here are the films Shah Rukh Khan has lined up to shoot

Shah Rukh Khan turns 55 today. The actor has been around in the film industry for almost three decades now and that alone is an incredibly remarkable feat. Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero. After the film’s release, he decided to take a little sabbatical and spend some time with his family along with reading scripts. Although there’s no official confirmation, reports suggest that he’s all set face the camera this month with Sidharth Anand’s Pathan. Let’s take a look at what is in store for the actor next.

1. Pathan

As we mentioned, SRK is expected to begin shooting for Pathan this month. Reports claim that he will have an extensive two-month shooting schedule and the team will take a break around New Year. Post that, he will be joined by his co-stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the next schedule which begins in 2021. The action flick is produced by YRF and will bet helmed by Sidharth Anand, who’s previously tasted success in the genre with films like Bang Bang and more recently, War. Apart from Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan’s chemistry, fans are also looking forward to seeing SRK and John share the screen for the very first time.

2. Atlee’s Sanki

The man behind films like Bigil, Mersal and Theri, Atlee is all set to make his Bollywood debut with a project starring SRK. Although we don’t know much about the project, rumours suggest that SRK will play a double role in the film. Previously, Shah Rukh Khan has played a double role in films like Duplicate, Fan, Paheli and the Don series.

3. Rajkumar Hirani’s social comedy

This one is definitely one of the most hyped Bollywood projects as it brings together Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani together for the very first time. The film is said to be a social comedy revolving around immigration. SRK is expected to play the role of a man who moves to Canada from Punjab.

4. Brahmastra

Brahmastra is another project that Bollywood fans are looking forward to. As if the cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt wasn’t enough, fans now have yet another reason to look forward to this film - SRK’s cameo. The actor is said to be playing a scientist in the film and it is said that his character is an aid to Ranbir’s character and helps push the story forward.
