Acute care hospital and regional referral centre Mercy Iowa City has chosen Allscripts Sunrise platform as the core electronic health record (EHR) solution.
The Mercy Iowa City campus includes the hospital, medical office building, outpatient clinics, and cancer centre.
The hospital’s medical staff includes more than 250 healthcare providers who serve patients from throughout Eastern Iowa.

The comprehensive single-platform is clinician-friendly and evidence-based solution that brings together all elements of care.
Allscripts Sunrise uses cloud-capable features built on the Microsoft Azure platform and will help improve the facility’s overall patient and care delivery experience.
It is equipped with an integrated revenue cycle, patient administration and patient engagement system.
