Rubbishing this rumour, actor Akshay Oberoi, who is a part of the new season said that there is no truth to these stories. He told Filmfare, “I think it’s dumb because speculation is what it is. You need fodder for stories and it’s absolutely not true. It’s unfair and I don’t know why these things happen. But I guess it's part of the game. Not only are we trying to make good content for people, it’s also a business. I always find these stories a part of the business. That’s how I deal with it. There’s money at stake, there’s reputation at stake, all kinds of people trying to get ahead. So, I’m okay that the story came out but it’s absolute rubbish.”

The news of an OTT giant asking the makers of Inside Edge to reshoot a major chunk of the third season surfaced on the internet. The report suggested that the content was not upto the mark and did not impress the authorities of the platform.
