Hyderabad: As part of the Janmashtami celebrations, Vyasa Puja and Nandotsavam programmes were held on a grand scale at Hare Krishna Temple, Banjara Hill by Hare Krishna Movement (HKM)- Hyderabad on Tuesday.

The day started with Nandotsavam and Jhulan Seva to Lord Krishna in which devotees from across the city participated. Later, a special Abhishekham was performed, followed by prasadam distribution.
On Tuesday evening, the 125th Vyasa Puja celebrations marking the appearance of the founder Acharya ISKCON, Srila Prabhupada was held in which devotees performed Guru Puja to seek blessings of the spiritual master.

A special Vyasa puja 2021 book was offered to Srila Prabhupada in which the devotees, including the president, HKM-Hyderabad, Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa, presented their written offerings to Prabhupada. The program concluded with a grand dinner prasadam for all the devotees who participated in the Janmashtami celebrations.
