3 Australian natural makeup brands you might like to add to cart

[ad_1]

Whenever I feature beauty products, I get asked for recommendations of natural alternatives. I know this is a big consideration for so many. Below are three Australian natural makeup brands you might like to check out.

I chat about each of the brands and their products in this week’s IGTV Live video which you can play catch up on below.

SabbiaCo mineral BB cream

(product gifted)

This is the first “makeup” product from Queensland-based natural skincare brand SabbiaCo. It is hybrid skincare/makeup product designed to offer up a natural glow for those who embrace the less-is-more approach to makeup. The ingredient list is a short one (always a good sign that the product is actually natural): rice peptide protein, aloe vera leaf juice, hyaluronic acid, zinc/iron oxide, rice powder, kaolin clay.

The tinted minerals are designed to tone and match your skin. It’s a product designed to enhance your natural skin, creating a beautiful glow. I apply two coats – leaving a minute in between – to get a little more “enhancement” and have found this is a beautiful weekend alternative to my using a foundation.

BALM Sydney multi-purpose highlighter and bronzer

(product bought)

I’m all about the “glow” when it comes to creating a makeup look and if you’ve been looking for a natural highlighter and/or bronzer, then the BALM Sydney products could be for you.

Again, I’d consider these products a hybrid makeup/skincare range, reason being the ingredients in them not only give you a visual glow, they support your skin to glow from the inside.

The Bronze gives a subtle bronze sheen, which I apply under the cheek bones and the forehead. I even use it as an eye colour. It blends easily. Use your fingers or a kabuki brush to apply.

The Glow gives that immediate lit from within look I like in a highlighter. I use it at the top of my cheekbones, on the brow bones and nose and chin.

Kester Black eye-liners

(product gifted)

I’ve talked about my love of Kester Black lipsticks here and here. I still love them. If you can see colour on my lips, it’s most probably a Kester Black lip colour – Woke Up Like This is my daily go-to and it stays on all day! Read here for a bit about what goes into Kester Black’s lipsticks.

When they recently introduced a range of natural eyeliners, I was intrigued. Formulated with 100% natural ingredients like organic Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter, Marula Oil and Vitamin E, these liners are hydrating and powerful. Read more HERE.

There are four colours available in the range, from everyone’s favourite black through to the shimmery bronze of UF-Whoa, to pinky beige Clone and matte burgundy A-Eye.

I use A-Eye has a great alternative to black – it just suits me so well and works with this current everyday look. Clone is great as a lip liner for me and UF-Whoa is great for the lining the bottom of my eyes and inner corner of top for a pop.

The glide on great and best of all they last the day.
