A Mumbai court on Monday extended, till October 7, the NCB custody of Aryan Khan - son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and producer Gauri Khan, following his arrest after the rave party aboard a luxury cruise ship was busted.
Now, Indian politician Shashi Tharoor took to his Twitter account to slam the 'witch-hunting of Shah Rukh over his son Aryan Khan's arrest. He tweeted, "I am no fan of recreational drugs & haven’t ever tried any, but I am repelled by the ghoulish epicaricacy displayed by those now witch-hunting @iamsrk on his son’s arrest. Have some empathy, folks. The public glare is bad enough; no need to gleefully rub a 23yr old’s face in it."

After several hours of arguments between the NCB lawyers and the advocate of the accused, the court rejected the latter's plea for bail and sent him to the agency's custody for another 3 days.
All the eight accused, arrested after a Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raid on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast were taken to the city court on Monday.
They were accused in connection with a drug seizure on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast.
