[ad_1]
MUMBAI: A day after the Center raised objections to the strict restrictions on air travel announced by the state, Maharashtra The government has reversed most restrictions, including the required negative RT-PCR report for interstate domestic travelers, regardless of their vaccination status.
Now, interstate domestic travelers who are fully vaccinated will not require a RTPCR report. But those who have taken a single dose or remain unvaccinated must submit a negative RT-PCR report valid for 72 hours. And instead of the mandatory seven-day institutional quarantine applying to passengers from the 12 ‘at risk’ countries, the state has narrowed the list down to three travelers: South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe .
“With the exception of the seven-day institutional quarantine for passengers from high-risk countries, all other guidelines are now in line with the Center’s standards,” said an official.
