What You Should Know:
– Rimidi, a cloud-based software platform that enables personalized management of health conditions across populations, today announced a strategic collaboration with Emory Healthcare to develop new patient and provider-facing FHIR apps.
– Specifically, the apps will create a more collaborative and transparent experience for patients undergoing orthopedic surgery, as well as for those referred to the deep brain stimulation (DBS) program for Parkinson’s and other neurologic conditions at Emory and other participating health systems.
– As early pioneers of SMART on FHIR, Rimidi’s apps work directly within leading EHR’s – no separate sign in, no workflow disruption and better clinical efficiency. Rimidi combines patient-generated health data from connected devices or patient reported outcomes measures with clinical data to drive patient-specific clinical insights and actions through embedded clinical decision support pathways.
– Rimidi’s new FHIR-based Ortho and Deep Brain Stimulation Apps are currently implemented at Emory, and are now commercially available for additional leading hospitals and health systems across the U.S.
